Aluminium chassis for amps or electronic projects

I had these made years ago as an alternative to expensive Hammond chassis. (see my other listings for a Hammond the same size)

size is 17x10x3" one of the standard sizes for amplifiers.

I ordered more than I can realistically use and I'm selling off the extras. At least 4 available.

This is made of a simple sheet of aluminium folded, as you can see.

Unlike the hammond chassis these are not welded at the corners and don't have a lip at the open side.

However they are much thicker aluminium than the hammond ones. These ones use 2mm aluminium and weigh 1140g

I used them in conjunction with a wooden sleeve to make guitar amps.
