Finish is a sort of matte laquer or maybe epoxy coating with a slight texture. Nice quality converter.

Grip is too slim for me otherwise I'd keep it.

Repaired mark to barrel. Gold plated nib. Fine nib. Works well with a wet fine to medium-fine line.
